NBA BASKETBALL ANALYTICS HACKATHON
On September 24, 2016, student statisticians, developers and engineers took part in the first ever NBA Basketball Analytics Hackathon where they helped to build basketball analytic tools and developed solutions to challenging and important problems in the field of basketball analytics.
INAUGURAL BASKETBALL ANALYTICS COURSE
As a member of the adjunct faculty at NYU, I created Basketball Analytics 101, a course designed to survey the statistical and technological tools used in basketball.
The course has evolved since inception and I am now a member of the Sports Management faculty at Columbia University.
